Arsenal’s Potential Targets: Five Premier League Players Identified After Scouting Mission for Two Players

Ivan Toney scored against Wolves over the weekend, catching the attention of Arsenal, who seem keen to recruit Premier League-proven players in the summer transfer window. According to HITC, the Gunners sent scouts to watch Wolves face Brentford to assess the performances of Pedro Neto and Ivan Toney. Both players impressed, with Neto hitting the post and Toney scoring Brentford’s second goal.

This suggests that Mikel Arteta is interested in recruiting players who have experience in the English top flight this season. Aston Villa’s Brazil international, Douglas Luiz, has been in great form, with scouts likely to have been impressed by his performances this season. Arsenal is reportedly looking for a striker in the summer transfer window, with Ivan Toney being their top target.

However, they are also considering other options, such as Bournemouth’s Dominic Solanke, who has been in impressive form this season, and Everton’s Onana, who has been on their radar for over 12 months. Arsenal is expected to keep a close eye on potential targets, including scouting players like Onana at Goodison Park. Michael Olise has drawn interest from top clubs like Chelsea, Manchester United, and Manchester City.

Arsenal may also be considering him as a potential right-winger to rotate with Bukayo Saka, given his promising performances for Crystal Palace this season. Finding a player with such potential could be beneficial for Arsenal in the long term.
