Banks of Dee 0 Sunnybank 1
Our Northern correspondent ventured out in to the frozen wastes last night to report on the table topping clash between Banks of Dee v Sunnybank.
In an excellent end to end encounter Sunnybank took the points with the only goal of the game just before half time thanks to former Ellon United and Banchory striker Derek Craigie, unfortunately the experienced hitman blotted his copy book bu getting sent off in the second half for a second booking. The result sees Sunnybank go 6 points clear of Dyce with 3 games in hand.

Rutherglen Glencairn v Scotland Juniors
Last nights friendly was abandoned at half time after Glencairn full back Craig Palmer suffered a bad injury. In his attempts to try and clear Pollok striker Bryan Dingwalls goal bound effort Palmer suffered a severe dislocation of his ankle and faces an operation to re-set and pin his ankle. Before the incident, Glencairn had taken the lead on 25 minutes when Stephen McGladrigan dispossesed Bo'ness full back Derek Fleming, beat another Scotland defender before firing past Ross at his near post. Keith Burgess's side came back in to it but until the incident on half time had failed to test the home keeper, it was unfortunate that Dingwalls equaliser should lead to Palmers injury. With Palmer unable to be moved at the ambulance taking over half an hour to arrive the decision was taken to abandon the game at half time.
